		<description>I didn't think about the possible inaccessibility using background images for the products, but that makes sense. I'm going to keep that in mind while I'm designing &lt;a href="http://littlesorters.com/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Little Sorters&lt;/a&gt;. I was going to do this month's CSS Off, but I was absolutely swamped with other things yesterday. I'm definitely planning on trying it out the next time around. Your current entry looks like a sure thing!</description>

Re the hover effects, i enjoy using them (see nav above) but the judges actually ruled against me in using them on the merchandise.  Their reasoning (and I agree with them after thinking about it for a while) was that products should have their own images, not just background images, so that with css off, the product images still show up.  

That's the best part of this contest: it helps you concentrate on all that tiny little semantic stuff. (Although the winning entry could use a little semantic help - see &lt;a href="http://blog.neatlysliced.com/index.php/2007/06/css-off-june-winner-thoughts/" rel="nofollow"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt; for some thoughts on that)</description>
